Oh dear.

We just got our SIXTEENTH email, sent from various concerned
Girls Aloud fans in Australia, announcing how heartbroken they all are that "Biology" only debuted at Number #26 this week.

While we're just as upset as yourselves, and even about as upset as the wondrous Mr. Fop is, let us take into consideration a few important things.

1. The Girls arrive in Australia on Friday. Which gave them ONE SINGLE DAY of promotion before the new singles week began on the Saturday.

2. So really, the girls didn't have an ample amount of time with their promotional work to have a serious impact on the charts, hence the #26.

3. Next week things should be much better, especially now that the single HAS indeed charted and radio are now more likely to play it often instead of being a bit frightened by its brilliance.

4. At least we are NOT like New Zealand when it comes to Girls Aloud, who DIDN'T EVEN CHART THE FUCKING THING THIS WEEK, THE DIRTY BASTARDS ONE ELEVEN.

5. For the sake of our sanity and well-being, we hope it DOES go up a little higher next week, ala
Sugababes "Push the Button", otherwise...

6.
x 1,000.

If you haven't already purchased your Australian copy of "Biology" or the album "Chemistry", you can do so at any of the listed retail stores, or online at www.sanity.com.au (buy album and buy single) - Please refrain from shopping online at hmv.com.au as those sales do NOT contribute to the ARIA charts (but Sanity - both online and instore - now do!)

ALRIGHT, LET US CUT TO THE CHASE.

Today in the fine nations of Australia and New Zealand,
Girls Aloud's amazing single "Biology" and brilliant album "Chemistry" are released, and we urge you all to go out and fork out the required pennies for both items.

That is only, however, if you believe that pop music has a place in the Australian charts.

We're assuming that, because you're reading this, you want the same thing we do - Girls Aloud to do well on the Aussie charts next week. With "Biology" being the greatest pop record of all time, it really should be number #1 for years.

So, in short: buy the single and buy the album. Get your friends to buy it, promise them they won't regret it, AND ALL THAT OTHER NONSENSE.

You can also purchase the album and single online from sanity.com.au - however, do NOT purchase either from a Sanity STORE, because Sanity RETAIL STORE SALES do NOT go toward ARIA chart placement, however the online store they run DOES.

If you wish to view a list of suitable shops to purchase Aloud material from, click here.

ALSO: Don't forget to read the intimate(ish) details of their promotional schedule in Oz, and also to visit our comprehensive list of phone numbers and emails of all your favourite radio stations. This way, it just makes it easy for you to request "Biology" every single day this week. Hurrah!

We'll (fingers crossed and all) have some more updates RE: Radio interviews later on in the week...

Sanity.com.au has what seems to be the official tracklisting of the Australian Special Edition of "Chemistry". "Racy Lacey" and "No Regrets" - both UK Bonus tracks only - are not found on the Oz edition, but "The Show" and "I'll Stand By You" - both from "What Will The Neighbours Say" have been thrown on.

To say we're a little disappointed with the tracklisting would be an understatement. Where's "Love Machine" and "Wake Me Up"?

Anywho:

1. Intro
2. Models
3. Biology
4. Wild Horses
5. See The Day
6. The Show
7. Watch Me Go
8. Waiting
9. Whole Lotta History
10. Long Hot Summer
11. Swinging London Town
12. It's Magic
13. I'll Stand By You

"Biology" is holding steady on both the Club V charts and Channel V ones here in Australia.

It's also one of the most added songs to Australian Radio... ABOUT BLOODY TIME!

We hope you've all been requesting the song by calling, emailing or texting your fave radio station and music television network. If you haven't, click here to bring up a list of radio & tv "hob knobs" details that you can start contacting, demanding that "Biology" gets played.

Also, don't forget to read the cheeky Media Guide Claire & Alyson have put together... It's several million shades of brilliant...

Hurrah indeed!!
